Apple Intelligence has been the big Apple story of the year. Unfortunately, it is yet to properly arrive on iPhones, including the newer iPhone 16 series devices. However, the tech giant has finally started rolling it out for all users. This week, Apple has rolled out the iOS 18.2 update for iPhone users which brings some new Apple Intelligence features, including ChatGPT-integration for iPhone 16 series as well as iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
Since this update has only been rolled out in beta for now, some of you might have not received it. Or, wouldn’t know how to enable it. In case you are still wondering how to use ChatGPT with Apple Intelligence on iPhones, we have a solution. Here are some easy steps you need to follow –
Step 1: Open Setting then go to “General” and then tap on “Software Updates”.
Step 2: Wait while it is checking updates and then tap “Update to Beta Version iOS 18.2”.
Step 3: Once it’s done, go back to “General”, Scroll down and tap to “Apple Intelligence & Siri”.
Step 4: Go to language and select it according to your region. Now go back and choose “voice” according to yourself.
Step 5: Scroll down to “Extend Apple Intelligence and Siri” and tap on ‘Chat GPT’.
Step 6: Tap on “Set up ChatGPT” and then click on Enable ChatGPT.
And it’s done, now you can use ChatGPT on iPhone. While you will experience Apple Intelligence after the update, here are a few features you should know and try:
The new update also brings ‘Compose’ feature to iPhones where all you need to do is feed a prompt to write text and the rest will be taken care of by ChatGPT. Also, Apple claims that you can control when ChatGPT is used and will be asked before your information is shared.
