Now that I have your attention, have you faced a situation where you urgently need to scan a document but don’t know how to do it on your iPhone? Well, in that case, you’re in the right place as I am going to tell you how you can easily scan documents on your iPhone.
I know it is as basic as it gets, just use your camera. Simply place the document on a flat surface. Position your document and tap on the shutter button.

This might be something that many of us might not be aware of. You can use your Notes app to scan and make documents.
To do this, simply long press on the Notes icon on your iPhone. It will show you an option to “Scan Document”. Click on it.
Another way to go about it is to open the Notes app, and then click on a new note. On the top left-hand side of the note you will see three dots, click on it. On the top it will show a ‘Scan’ button, click on it.
It will open the scanner for you. Place the document on a smooth surface and tap on the shutter icon. Once it captures the document, you can align the corners and crop out what’s not needed. You can keep on adding more pages to it if needed or simply stop at one.

It saves your scanned pages as a note and voila you have an easy-to-access note of your important documents. You can easily share it as well.
You can even use the Adobe app to scan and save your documents. Simply download the app from the App Store and then open it. Next, you will find a slider below the camera icon, use it to select the type of document that you wish to scan. Click on the camera, and repeat if you wish to add more pages. If not, just click on adjust, align all your pages, and save the file.
