This plan comes with a Disney+ Hotstar subscription

Vi ₹151 plan has a 30-day validity

Vodafone Idea has launched a new affordable plan priced at ₹151. This plan does not include the benefits of a regular prepaid unlimited plan, as the users will be credited with 8 GB of data that is valid for 30 days. To add to this, the customers who purchase this plan will get a 3-month Disney+ Hotstar subscription. It is to be noted that there will be no service validity along with this plan.

Vi ₹ 151 Plan - Benefits and alternatives

Other data-only plans that are offered by Vi at the moment are priced between ₹ 19 and ₹999 and come with varying benefits and validity periods. The other plan that can be compared to this one is the ₹118 plan which comes with 30-day validity and offers 12 GB of data. There is no popular OTT service subscription included in this plan. However, users get access to Vi Movies and TV, which has a decent collection of content for them to consume using the 12 GB of data that they have received.

As far as the competitors are concerned, they have decent offerings in this price bracket too. For example, Airtel has data-only plans between ₹19 and ₹301. The only offering from the company that comes with a major OTT platform subscription is their ₹108 plan. This plan gives the users 6 GB of data and a subscription to the mobile edition of Amazon Prime Video.

There are plenty of plans from different providers to choose from at this point in the Indian market. Each provider is in the race to provide the best service with the most number of perks at the lowest price.
