How to update phone number or correct address on your Aadhaar Card: A step by step guide

Steps to update your mobile number:
- Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website
- Step 2: Select “Get Aadhaar”
- Step 3: Click ‘Book appointment’
- Step 4: Choose your city or select “Others”
- Step 5: Login with your registered mobile number and OTP
- Step 6: Enter the Aadhaar details and select the “Mobile number update service”
- Step 7: Pick your “Appointment time”
- Step 8: Pay Rs 50 if applicable and receive an updated request number.
- Step 9: Track status of your application with the 14 digit “Update Request Number” (URN)
Note: Updating your new mobile number can take 30 days.

- Step 6: Pay the Rs.50 fee if applicable and receive an updated request number
- Step 7: Track status of your application with the 14 digit “Update Request Number” (URN)
