The class 12th CBSE results are finally out and can be seen for all streams whether commerce, science, or arts on the official website at cbseresults.nic.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today announced results for over 14 lakh 12th class students in India. This is the first-ever result given by the board without conducting exams. The 12th class exams were cancelled due to Covid and now the CBSE board has announced the results based on the candidate’s previous performance and assessments.
The mark sheets are now available for download at the official CBSE sites, CBSE.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. Students can also download their mark sheets from the Digi locker facility at digilocker.gov.in.
As the Class 12 exams were not held this year in India because of the Covid crisis, students didn’t receive any admit cards with their roll numbers. The results of the 12th class have been declared today and now the CBSE board has activated the window to access the roll numbers.
This year the number of students who scored 90+ is almost the same as last year. Schools have reportedly given high scores to their students, however, CBSE has asked them to follow rationalisation methodology. This year over 1,50,000 students scored more than 90% in the exams.
The class 12th CBSE results will be based on the marks obtained in Class 10 exams, the performance in school examinations in class 11 and 12 as well as the practical and performance in school in the last six years. The theory paper evaluation is 30 percent weightage has been given to Class 10th, 30 percent to class 11 marks, and 40 percent weightage to Class 12 marks based on unit test/mid-term/pre-board exams. In case students are unhappy with their marks, they can give an optional exam for CBSE Class 12 students.
