This RBI move banned all payments, top-ups, and more on the mobile payment app. After hearing this news, some people got worried about their FASTag that is linked with their Paytm Wallet. How to port your FASTag from Paytm
This is a very simple procedure. To port or transfer the FASTag from Paytm, you just need to call customer care of the bank (the one you are transferring your FASTag to) and tell them that you want to switch. After that, they will ask you for some details and your transfer will be done in no time.

How to deactivate your FASTag from Paytm
Step 1: To deactivate the FASTag from Paytm, firstly log in to the FASTag Paytm portal with your User ID or Wallet ID and password.
Step 2: Next, provide FASTag’s details such as its FASTag number, your contact details, and more.
Step 3: Select the option that talks about deactivating FASTag and provide the additional information if asked.
Step 4: Save the complaint or reference number given by customer support for later use. If you don’t get confirmation, contact Paytm again.
Step 5: Lastly, select “Closure Request” as the request type in the service request options.

How to get a new FASTag from HDFC Bank?
Step 1: Visit the HDFC Bank FASTag Portal or the official portal of your respective bank.
Step 2: Log in or create an account, following the provided instructions.
Step 3: Click on “First Time User” on the HDFC Bank Portal and proceed.
Step 4: Fill in all required information as prompted.
Step 5: Make the necessary payment.
Step 6: The FASTag card will be delivered to your registered address.
How to get a new FASTag from ICICI Bank?
Step 1: Go to the ICICI Bank website: www.icicibank.com.
Step 2: Log in to your account or create one.
Step 3: Choose ‘Apply for FASTag’ on the website.
Step 4: Fill in essential details such as name, address, vehicle number, etc.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents like RC and ID proof.
Step 6: Review and submit the application.
Step 7: Once approved, the FASTag will be sent to your selected address.
How to get a new FASTag from Axis Bank?
Step 1: Visit the Axis Bank website: www.axisbank.com.
Step 2: Choose ‘Apply for FASTag’ or a similar option.
Step 3: Log in or create an account if you haven’t.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, including name, address, and vehicle information.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents such as RC and ID proof.
Step 6: Review and submit the application.
Step 7: Once approved, the FASTag will be dispatched to your chosen address.
