Instagram hack: 3 ways how you can read Instagram DMs without sending read receipt
You can easily restrict a user if you don’t wish that they know when you have read their message.
Another hack that you can try is going offline.
The most simple trick is to read the messages through notification previews.
Let’s just admit that sometimes when someone messages us, we don’t want them to know if we have read their messages or not. With WhatsApp, we can turn off the read receipts or the blue ticks. But on Instagram, a “Seen” message pops up every time you read someone’s message. Don’t you wish sometimes that there was a way around this problem? Today, we’re going to be talking about just that. I’ll tell you how you can read someone’s message without them knowing.
How to read Instagram messages without the user knowing?
First things first, you have to know that, unlike WhatsApp, Instagram doesn’t come with a built-in feature. So here are a few hacks that we can use.

Restrict sender account
You can easily restrict a user if you don’t wish that they know when you have read their message. For this, go to the profile of the user who you wish to restrict. Next, click on the three-line menu on the top-right corner. Restrict the person and they will not get a “Seen” message when you read their messages. Messages from restricted people appear in the “Requests” section. If you’re done, you can restrict them.
Going offline
Another hack that you can try is going offline. What you need to do is that when a message arrives from a user whom you don’t want to know if you have read their messages or not, simply go offline by turning off your data and WiFi. Once that’s done, you can read the messages in question. Now, log out before restoring the data connection or WiFi.
