WhatsApp has come a long way from being just a messaging app. With regular updates and new features, it has become a key app for staying connected with loved ones. If you frequently video call friends and family on WhatsApp, you’ll be happy to know about the recently launched low-light mode. This feature aims to enhance video call quality even in dim lighting, helping you connect more clearly, no matter the setting.
Want to give it a try? Here’s a step-by-step guide to using low-light mode for better video quality on WhatsApp calls.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your phone
Step 2: Start a video call with any of your friends or family member
Step 3: On your screen, you’ll see a bulb icon on the top-right.
Step 4: Tap on the bulb icon to turn it on. To turn it off, just tap on the “Bulb” icon again.
And now your friends and family can see you clearly with better visibility and reduced graininess regardless of the lighting condition you are in. Currently, this feature can be accessed only on Android and iOS phones, not on Windows.
