How to use WhatsApp’s low-light mode for better video calls

How to use low-light mode on WhatsApp
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your phone
Step 2: Start a video call with any of your friends or family member
Step 3: On your screen, you’ll see a bulb icon on the top-right.
Step 4: Tap on the bulb icon to turn it on. To turn it off, just tap on the “Bulb” icon again.
And now your friends and family can see you clearly with better visibility and reduced graininess regardless of the lighting condition you are in. Currently, this feature can be accessed only on Android and iOS phones, not on Windows.

Things you should know
As this is a temporary setting, this needs to be activated every time while you are on call.
Apart from the low-light mode, WhatsApp has some more interesting video call features such as background remover, filters and touch-up.
- Background remover: Using the background remover feature, you can change your background during video calls.
- Filters: Using this feature you can add a filter among many while having the video call with your friends and family, which can make your video calls more lively.
