WhatsApp multi device support has started rolling out.

WhatsApp multi device update is available for both Android and iOS users.

WhatsApp Web multi device support is currently available in Beta.

WhatsApp has started rolling out multi-device support in beta for both Android and iOS users that allows them to use their accounts on secondary devices, even when their phones are switched off or not connected to the Internet. The WhatsApp feature allows you to connect to four devices at the same time. Users will also be able to send and receive messages on the app even when their phones are not connected to the Internet. The WhatsApp update is meant for users who access WhatsApp on a desktop or Mac.

WhatsApp multi-device support lets users connect their instant messaging account to a secondary device like a PC, laptop, or Facebook Portal. WhatsApp continues to provide end-to-end encryption on the chats that take place using the secondary device. So neither WhatsApp nor a third party can read any messages sent or received.

Users can send and receive messages on their secondary devices even if they are not near their smartphones with the new WhatsApp update. The feature also helps you stay connected to WhatsApp even when your phone is switched off or runs out of battery.

For now, the multi-device support on WhatsApp is currently in beta mode and is available to iOS and Android users for testing. Please note that as the feature is currently in beta, it may have some bugs in the performance, which will be ironed out by the time a stable version is rolled out. To join the beta program, follow the below-mentioned steps.
