AI has been making headlines for quite some time, with various bots available to simplify daily tasks, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and many more. As people increasingly rely on these AI models, many applications have integrated them to enhance user experiences.
WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform, has also incorporated Meta AI. Powered by the “Llama 3.2” language model developed by Meta, this AI assistant generates human-like responses. In this guide, we’ll explain how to use Meta AI on WhatsApp.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your phone.
Step 2: Now either you can tap the “Meta” icon in the bottom right or directly ask your question in the search bar for accessing your chatbot.

Now, you can ask this chatbot to generate images just by feeding a few prompts. Or you can even ask any random question or any advice such as to create an itinerary for your next trip, a horror film list, a planning journal and many more.
Moreover, while having a chat with your friend you can directly use this assistant without jumping to chatbot. This works for both, whether it is a personal chat or even a group, you just have to type “@Meta AI” in the chat and then you can give the prompt for generating any image to any advice.
As claimed by WhatsApp, Meta AI can only read and reply to the messages where you’ll mention “@Meta AI”, which ensures that neither WhatsApp nor Meta can read this. This ensures that your personal messages remain end-to-end encrypted.
