Instagram is one of the most popular social networking platforms that allows users to seamlessly connect with friends, family, and even strangers. However, there are times when you just want a little privacy while using Instagram, without everyone knowing that you are active.
By default, Instagram allows people you follow and those you’ve messaged see when you were last active or currently active on the platform. While transparency fosters a sense of connectivity, there are times when you might prefer to operate incognito.
Whether you’re using your mobile device or accessing Instagram via the web, gaining control over when and how your online status is displayed is a straightforward process. This step-by-step guide will help you to hide your online presence on Instagram.
