Google is making it easier for you to switch from Android to iPhones with this new Chrome feature. 1. While you are required to sign in to any iPhone app, tap the username or password field.
2. On the keyboard, at the top, you will see an option called Passwords.
4. Tap on it and you may be prompted to log in to your iPhone using Face ID or password.
5. Finally, select the password, and the app will be signed in. If there is Two-factor authentication enabled, you will have to enter that code too. That’s all.
This is a very nifty feature to have as unlike iOS Keychain, Chrome is available on several platforms for years now. Many of us have our passwords saved on that already. So, now we can use it across iPhones and other Apple products too.
“When it comes to getting things done on your iPhone and iPad, there’s no place like Chrome. With the Chrome iOS app, you can securely save your passwords so there’s no need to keep guessing," remarked Nasim Sedaghat, Product Manager, Chrome whilst announcing the new Chrome feature through a blog post.
