Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your phone.
Step 2: Go to your Profile, then tap on the top right Profile Menu.
Step 3: Here tap on “Accounts Center” and go to “Personal details” in Account settings.
Step 4: Now go to the third option “Account ownership and control” and then tap on “Deactivation or deletion”.
Step 5: Choose the account you want to deactivate and select “Deactivate account”.
Step 6: Enter your password and select “Continue” to confirm.
Step 7: Choose a reason for deactivating your account and tap “Continue”.
And it is done, you can enjoy your social media detox.

To deactivate your Instagram account from PC, go to instagram.com and log in to the account that you want to deactivate. Now you can follow the same steps as mentioned above for the phone.
