Blocking and unblocking on Instagram is like setting boundaries in your virtual space. It’s an easy process that enables you to decide who can engage with your content.
In this article, we’ll guide you through the simple steps to block or unblock someone on Instagram.

Step 1: Tap the arrow icon or the Messenger icon present at the top right corner of the feed.
Step 2: Open the chat of the person who you want to block.
Step 3: Tap the person’s name at the top of your chat.
Step 4: Tap the Options button.
Step 5: Select the Block/Unblock option, then tap again to confirm.

Step 1: Open the Instagram app.
Step 2: Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
Step 3: Tap the three horizontal lines present at the top right corner.
Step 4: Select the Settings and privacy option.
Step 5: Below Who can see your content, tap the Blocked option.
Step 6: To unblock someone, tap Unblock to the right of their name. Tap Unblock again to confirm.
Step 7: In order to add someone to your blocked accounts list, tap the plus icon present at the top right corner and search for the person that you want to block. Tap Block to the right of their name.
Step 1: Navigate to the person’s profile whom you want to block.
Step 2: Tap the three dots present at the top right corner.
Step 3: Hit Block.
