iPhone users, I have some good news for you. Remember how we used to depend on third-party apps to create stickers for the sticker wars on WhatsApp? But now it seems that Meta is set to resolve the issue and allow iPhone users to create stickers on WhatsApp. Sounds fun, doesn’t it? Read along as I decode it for you.
WhatsApp had silently introduced a new feature that allowed users to create stickers from the pictures in their gallery. However, this feature is only available for those who have iOS 16 and above.

If you have iOS 16 and above, you can use this feature by simply going to the app store and updating your WhatsApp. However, you do not get any dedicated feature for this. For this, WhatsApp has cleverly used the pre-existing feature on iOS 16. The feature I am talking about is the one where you can separate the object from the image by long pressing on it. Once you have separated the object from the photo, you must drop it on WhatsApp to create a new sticker.

To create your personalised stickers on WhatsApp, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your gallery and go to the desired image.
Step 2: Now long press on the image to separate the subject from the background.
Step 3: Now copy and paste this onto a WhatsApp chat.
Step 4: WhatsApp will then create a custom sticker out of this which you can send.
Step 5: It will also get saved in your WhatsApp sticker collection for future use.
So go on, create unique stickers on WhatsApp, and send them to your friends to add a more personalised touch to your chats.
