A lot has happened before the arrival of GTA 6, and the game is nowhere to be seen. Rockstar Games, the company behind the Grand Theft Auto franchise, is yet to announce an official launch date for the new installment. It is speculated that the game will arrive in Fall 2025. However, fans have not been sitting idle. They are trying to find clues about the upcoming game with whatever little information they have. And the word on the street is that the GTA 6 map this time will be bigger than expected.

The GTA 6 Mapping Project is a fan-driven effort that has been going on for over a year now. The fans are using the trailer and leaked gameplay materials to get their information and on the basis of that, they have created a map of the same. And if we look at the past trends, a similar map rendition for GTA V came out to be close to accurate. So this means that there can be some truth to these fan-made maps.

The mapping project has surfaced online on Reddit via GAMINGGbible. A fan then used this map to compare it with the world of Just Cause 2. Both of these maps are similar in size. For those unaware, Just Cause 2 is known for its big open world. On average, it takes players around 86.5 hours to complete 100% of the game. This means that we can get a similar feel with GTA 6.

For now, let’s take this with a pinch of salt as all of this is based on limited data and speculations. We don’t know what exactly Rockstar Games has to offer and how things will turn out to be.
