Yu Yunicorn vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 3: Spec comparison

Take a look at how the newly launched Yu Yunicorn fares against its competition.

The newly launched Yu Yunicorn smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC. This is the second phone in the budget segment, running the Helio P10. Last month, Meizu launched the M3 Note with the same SoC. However both these phone are up against the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The Redmi Note 3 is currently the best phone in the sub-15K smartphone segment. It features long battery life and offers the best value for money in this segment right now.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 powered device is able to perform almost at par with some of the best smartphones in the market, including the Nexus 5X. While we have started with the review of the Yu Yunicorn, here is how it fairs against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 in a pure spec comparison.

Specification-wise, both phones seems quite similar. So, we ran a couple of synthetic benchmarks to check, how the two devices stack up.

Both smartphones have a metal construction and feature large 4000mAh batteries. However, that isn't the only similarity between them, they look almost exactly the same. Both feature rounded edges and brushed metal backs. The ergonomics are similar as well. Although, the placement of fingerprint sensor is different and so is the location of the rear speaker.

However, if you compare the Meizu M3 Note with the Yu Yunicorn, they are identical, on both the front and back.
