The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series is set to launch on March 4 in India where the company is expected to announce the successors to the Redmi Note 9 line-up from 2020. The Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max have been heavily rumoured and leaked in the past few weeks revealing its design, key specifications and features. We are looking at a massive overhaul with the Redmi Note 10 line-up as it has a new design with upgraded internals. Xiaomi is yet to confirm if we are getting three phones on March 4, but it looks more likely than ever. Furthermore, Xiaomi itself has been teasing the Redmi Note 10 series in the heads-up to the launch date which is scheduled for next week. Here we have compiled everything that we know about the Redmi Note 10 series so far.

What is the launch date of Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series in India?

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 10 series will launch on March 4 in India. The company has announced that it will be the global debut of the Redmi Note 10 series next week and the phones will be available in India first. Xiaomi is expected to announce three smartphones in the Redmi Note 10 line-up which could include the standard Redmi Note 10 followed by the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.

Xiaomi will be live-streaming the Redmi Note 10 series launch across its social media channels. We have embedded the YouTube livestream link below for your convenience.

What is the price of the Redmi Note 10 series in India?

At the time of its launch, the Redmi Note 9 was priced starting at Rs 11,999 for the base variant while the Redmi Note 9 Pro started at Rs 12,999 followed by the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max at Rs 14,999.

We expect Xiaomi to price the Redmi Note 10 series in the same price bracket as the Redmi Note 9 series. However, given that the new line-up will have a new design and 108MP cameras, the price of the Pro series may go up by a few thousand rupees. As per the recent leaks, the Redmi Note 10 could be priced under Rs 14,000 in India.

We will know the exact price of the Redmi Note 10 series on March 4 when it launches officially.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series: Design and Display

The Redmi Note 10 series is slated to get a design refresh as confirmed by Xiaomi itself. They are calling it the new “Evol. Design” which as per the leaks is closer to the design of the Mi 11. The Redmi Note 10 series looks likely to feature a rectangular camera module on the back and has a glossy finish. Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain posted a picture of him holding the retail box of the Redmi Note 10 series on Twitter and retail boxes of the phone have also been leaked. Furthermore, Xiaomi UK YouTube channel posted a video revealing the key specifications of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

The image of the phone on the retail box seems to be in line with the leaked images so far. In that, we can see the rectangular camera module on the back with the primary camera accented in chrome finish. The phones are expected to be lightweight and are confirmed to be IP52 rated, making them resistant to dust and splashes of water.

The Redmi Note 10 series is confirmed to feature AMOLED display across the line-up with the Note 10 Pro and Pro Max receiving upto 120Hz high-refresh-rate support. Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter and confirmed that the Redmi Note 10 series will feature 120Hz refresh rate. It remains unclear whether the standard Redmi Note 10 will support a high refresh rate.

Moreover, the phones in the Redmi Note 10 series are expected to have a centre punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera upfront. There are chances that the standard Redmi Note 10 may feature a normal AMOLED screen as has been hinted through a leaked hands-on video where an always-on display option was spotted in the Settings menu.

The Redmi Note 10 is expected to feature a 6.43-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution and uses a Super AMOLED panel with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max could feature 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a Super AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
