While you may be thinking there’s no point in reading about the iPhone, since it is sure to be more expensive than most other things that you have, deep down you know you want to know all about it.

So, while we’ll tell you exactly what the iPhone 6S/iPhone 7 is or is not once it is launched. Here’s all you can expect from the next variant of Steve Jobs’ masterpiece.

May the Force…umm..touch you?

Rumours suggest the new iPhone will have what Apple calls a 3D Force Touch feature. This means the screen will now respond to a touch, a press and a deeper press, performing different actions for each.

Closing the ‘bend’gate…

Apple is reportedly going to use a new grade of aluminium, ensuring no more bending issues with the new variants of its iPhones.

4G force…

The new iPhone is also supposed to support faster 4G LTE connections, thanks to a new LTE chip from Qualcomm. Well, you know what’s coming to Android next!

Reclaiming the glory…

Apple’s iPhones had always come with the best smartphone cameras available, but this year, multiple Android phones have beaten Apple’s camera. Hence, the Cupertino-based tech giant would look to reclaiming the glory with a 12MP camera on the iPhone 6S this time.

Ever so thin…

Certain rumours also suggest that the next generation of the iPhone will be as thin as the iPod Touch. That means it could be as much as 6.1 mm thin.

A more pixel dense display…

While iPhone displays have always been quite good, with Android flagships going as high as 2K resolution, Apple is expected to at least move to a 1080p resolution for its Retina display this time, while the larger iPhone 6S Plus may even have a 2K display.

Performance beast…

While Apple has made no such mention, a new and more powerful A9 processor is expected to be seen on the iPhone 6S. What will this add? We’ll find out soon enough!

iOS 9…

While we’ve been using iOS 9 for a while now, the new iPhone is going to come with the OS out-of-the-box.

New Apple TV…

A new version of Apple TV is expected at the event tomorrow and if rumours are to be believed, Apple is going to have some announcements for gamers with this one.

The elephant in the room…

No, not what you think. Apple is reportedly going to launch a gigantic 12.9 inch iPad Pro tablet tomorrow.
