Vivo V23 Pro has a curved and very thin display, a flat back panel and the Display is 7.4 mm thin. It also comes with a thin middle frame which makes the phone very sleek. It comes with the Vivo branding on the bottom left corner and the camera island on the top left of the back panel. The phone comes in two colour options, Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro comes with a Unibody design and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There is no camera island on the back but it is integrated with the back panel. It has the Oppo branding on the bottom right corner. The phone comes in three colours Glazed Green, Glazed black and a really cool House of the Dragon-themed phone.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max (5 nm) and it runs on Android 12 OS. The phones come with a single storage option; 12GB 256GB.

The Vivo V23 Pro features a 6.56 inches AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support. The display also supports HDR10+ and it can give an output of 800 nits at peak brightness.
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro has a 6.7 inches AMOLED display and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display can emit 950 nits at the peak brightness. It also supports HDR10+.

Vivo V23 Pro packs a 4300mAH battery and the phone supports 44 watts of fast charging. Vivo claimed that the V23 Pro can charge from 1% to 63% in 30 minutes.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro on the other hand comes with a 4500mAh battery which can be charged from 1% to 100% in 31 mins, claims Oppo. It has 80-watt fast charging support.

Vivo V23 Pro has a triple camera setup which carries a 108-megapixel primary camera and along with that an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens for wide-angle shots and a 2-megapixel macro lens for close-up pictures. The phone also has a dual setup in the front camera which has a 50-megapixel primary selfie shooter and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Whereas, Oppo Reno 8 Pro matches a little with the camera specs of Vivo V23. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor for wide-angle shots and a 2-megapixel macro lens for close-up shots. The phone has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
