Upcoming smartphone launches from Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and OnePlus in June 2017

Nokia, Motorola, OnePlus and Nubia to make a splash with new launches ahead of Monsoon season

With the first wave of smartphones for the year out of the way, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, OnePlus and more are expected to launch new device this month. While the specifications and launch dates of most of the devices known, there are some with unconfirmed specfications. However, all these device are expected to launch this month. Here are the nine phones, which have either already been launched, or may launch this month. 

ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini

Replacing the popular Z11 Mini, the Z17 Mini is once again a camera-centric device by ZTE. The phone features a dual 13MP camera at the back and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 platform. The phone will go on sale on June 12.

The Nokia 3 is the smallest, and least powerful of all the Nokia smartphones. Unlike the other two phones, the Nokia 3 uses a high quality polycarbonate construction, which does look and feel good.

Nokia 5

The Nokia 5 is argueably one of the most important devices in Nokia's upcoming lineup of smartphones as it will most likely go up against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Honor 6X and others in that price bracket.

OnePlus 5

If all the leaks and teasers are to be believed, then new ‘flagship killer’ will be launched later this month. It is expected to offer dual-rear cameras and a Snapdragon 835.

The Moto Z2 Play was unveiled just a few days ago and is already confirmed to be heading to India. The company will start taking pre-orders for the device from June 8 onwards.

Samsung generally launches its Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones together. The Galaxy J7 is generally a slightly bigger variant of the Samsung Galaxy J5, with slightly7 better specifications.
