HIGHLIGHTS

With little over a day to go till Samsung unveils the Galaxy S IV, our weekly poll results our in, showing you what your fellow readers think is the most anticipated feature.

With the Samsung Galaxy S IV’s big reveal due tomorrow, we thought it was a good idea to ask our readers, fans, and subscribers just what they thought was the most anticipated new feature the flagship smartphone would bring to the table.

There have been a lot of rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S IV, rumours which began the day the Galaxy S III was launched. Some were believable, and some, quite incredible.

In the more recent past, we’ve managed to identify at least four features which will almost definitely make their way onto the new Samsung flagship smartphone, and it was from this list that we asked our readers to choose.

The poll results are in, and over 1000 responses were collected. The most anticipated feature was quite obvious, one that stands to give the S IV a major performance lead over other flagships – the 8-core Eynos 5 Octa processor. It received 477 votes, or 45 percent.

The big surprise was the ‘Smart or Eye Scroll’ feature, which leaked earlier last week, and suggested the Galaxy S IV would have the ability to scroll text/webpages/etc., just by using eye-tracking. This got an astonishing 339 votes, or 32 percent of the total.

Less surprisingly, the Galaxy S IV’s expected Super AMOLED full HD display received 175 votes, or 16 percent of the total, while its expected new TouchWiz UI, received 80 votes, or 7 percent of the total.

We can’t wait till Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S IV tomorrow! Do stay tuned for full coverage of the event, and the new device. Do also check out our previous poll results, here, and also answer our this week’s poll, where we ask you “Should Nokia adopt the Android platform?”
