Today, Realme has announced the Realme 13 Pro series in India, including the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+. Both smartphones are equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 5200mAh battery, and more. Realme has rolled out this lineup under Rs 30,000. In this article, I am comparing the Realme 13 Pro+ with the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. The Edge 50 Pro also falls around the same price segment and it was launched in April. Let’s go!
Realme 13 Pro+ vs Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Specifications
The Realme 13 Pro+ features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour, and has 2000 nits of peak brightness. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display that supports 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 10-bit colour, and has the same 2000 nits of peak brightness.
Next, the Realme 13 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This smartphone runs on the latest Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 OS. Coming to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, it runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This phone runs on the stock Android 14 OS.
For photography, both smartphones have triple-camera setups. The Realme 13 Pro+ houses a 50-megapixel OIS main camera, a 50-megapixel Periscope Telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a 50-megapixel OIS main camera along with a 10-megapixel Periscope telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Lastly, the Realme 13 Pro+ is packed with a 5200mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging. Whereas, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro runs on a 4500mAh battery and supports 125-watt wired fast charging, 50-watt wireless fast charging, and 10-watt reverse wireless charging.
Price comparison
Realme has rolled out the Realme 13 Pro+ in India at a starting price of Rs 29,999. Whereas, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is available on Flipkart at a starting price of Rs 31,999.
