Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G has been launched in India and it has got features like an FHD+ AMOLED display, a flagship-grade chipset, a 50MP triple rear camera system, Android 11-based ColorOS 12 software and a 4500mAh battery with a 65W charging solution. Now we have mentioned this assortment of specs ‘cause they are more or less what Oppo’s sibling OnePlus offers with its 9RT 5G model. Yes, there are differences too, not just in price, but also in the specs. So, let’s find just that here. Out of the two phones, the newcomer Reno 7 Pro 5G is probably the most comfortable to hold and carry in your pocket. It is the slimmest Reno ever at just 7.4mm thickness and weighs only 180 grams. In comparison, the OnePlus 9RT measures 8.7mm in width and 198.5 grams in heft.
As for the build material, both phones have Gorilla Glass 5 on the front, metal frame, and glass back. Here on the back also, OnePlus has Gorilla Glass 5 while Oppo chooses Panda Glass. Both of them should feel decent on hand with preferences pertaining to the texture, squared/curvy edges, and aforesaid dimensions and weight factor.
Coming to the display properties and picture quality, the OnePlus 9RT 5G has a lead in terms of its faster 120Hz refresh rate, 1300Hz of touch sampling rate, and 1,300nits of peak brightness. Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G’s screen, meanwhile, has a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness.
