OnePlus is launching its next budget smartphone in India in a few days. This is the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite which will come as a successor to the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite. The Chinese brand has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone along with a few features. Moreover, as usual, rumours and leaks are also here. So, I am going to do a comparison, OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite vs OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite, to check what will be new and upgraded. Let’s go!
Major design change
The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite will follow the design of the OnePlus Nord CE4, which launched in April. On the back, we’ll get two small circular camera rings placed vertically inside a cylindrical camera module. Furthermore, it will launch in Blue colour and the volume rockers have gone to the right side from the left side of the panel. Lastly, you’ll get the OnePlus branding right at the centre of the back. The front seems like it would be the same. ‘The OnePlus Club’ on X has shared a few product images of the Nord CE4 Lite which reveal a punch-hole cutout at the front.

From IPS to AMOLED?
The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite is also expected to launch with an AMOLED display. This could support up to 120Hz refresh rate and Aqua Touch tech, which ensures proper usage if your hands are wet. Coming to the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite, it has a 6.72 IPS LCD with up to 120Hz refresh rate support.
OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite vs OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite: Performance
The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor that could be paired with up to 8GB RAM. Whereas, the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite runs on the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. The Nord CE4 Lite will most likely run on the latest OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite might have one less camera sensor
The OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite is equipped with a triple camera setup, holding a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite is confirmed to get a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia main camera with OIS support. It is rumoured to be accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor, which might be either a macro lens or a depth sensor.

OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite vs OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite
The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite will be equipped with a big 5500mAh battery and support 80-watt SUPERVOOC fast charging. However, the Nord CE3 Lite is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging support.
