The specifications of the OnePlus 3 were revealed via an advertisement and this is how it stacks up against the LeEco Le Max2, Xiaomi Mi 5, and the LG G5
The price and the specifications of the OnePlus 3 may have been revealed via an advertisement in a newspaper. Judging by the ad, OnePlus may soon launch a very interesting device. The phone is tipped to be priced at Rs. 27,999 and will be exclusive to Amazon India. Further, the advertisement reveals that the OnePlus 3 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 6GB of RAM, and offer 64GB of storage. Interestingly, the advertisement pegs the OnePlus 3 to have a 16MP front and an 8MP rear camera, although it most likely will be the other way around.
There are still some specifications of the device that are unknown such as the display, battery size, and if the device will be available in other variants. However, going by the advertisement, it seems like OnePlus’ flagship will be able to go toe-to-toe with heavyweights like the Xiaomi Mi 5, LeEco Le Max2 (6GB RAM variant), and the LG G5. Here is how the four devices stack up, based on the information revealed by the advertisement.

As you can see, the OnePlus 3 and the Le Max 2 seem to be the most similar devices in terms of specifications and price. The OnePlus 3 may be slightly cheaper than the Le Max 2, but the latter features a 21MP primary camera as compared to the 16MP unit on the OnePlus 3. The Xiaomi Mi 5 on the otherhand is the cheapest amongst the four devices, but offers half the RAM and storage space compared to the OnePlus 3 and the Le Max2. LG’s flagship device, the G5, offers an innovative modular design and a dual-rear camera setup, but is priced at Rs. 52,990 and offers 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage. The high price of the LG G5, may also deter some from purchasing the device.
OnePlus is scheduled to launch the OnePlus 3 in a few hours and everything about the device will be revealed then. The launch of the device will be held in virtual reality at 10:00 pm IST today. The device will be available for purchase on Amazon from June 15, 12:30 am.
