iQOO has launched its new phone the iQOO Neo 7 5G which looks to be a step up from its predecessor. We are comparing the iQOO Neo 7 5G to the Realme 10 Pro Plus which was launched in November 2022 and is also a mid-range phone.

iQOO Neo 7 5G has a plastic back panel, plastic frame and glass front. The phone weighs 193g and it comes in a solid design on the back. It features a big square camera island which holds a triple camera setup and flashlight. The phone comes with a punch-hole notch where the front camera is placed.
The Realme 10 Pro Plus is equipped with 61-degree curved front and curved back panels. It sports two big camera rings on the back and a crystal-designed back panel. It comes in three colours: Dark Matter Black, Nebula Blue and Hyperspace.
iQOO Neo 7 5G features a 6.78 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The display can emit 1300 nits on peak brightness according to lab tests.
The Realme 10 Pro Plus has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. The display also supports 1 billion colours, HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. Sadly, it does not have Gorilla Glass protection so the curved display could break easily if the phone is manhandled.
The iQOO Neo 7 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 (4 nm) chipset paired with 8GB RAM, 12GB RAM and 16GB RAM. The phone comes in five storage options; 128GB/8GB RAM, 256GB/8GB RAM, 256GB/12GB RAM, 256GB/16GB RAM, and 512GB/12GB RAM.
It runs on Origin OS 3 based on Android 13.
The Realme 10 Pro Plus is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 (6nm) chipset which is paired with four storage options; 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 12GB RAM.
The Realme 10 Pro Plus runs on the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0.
The iQOO Neo 7 comes with a triple camera setup holding a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Realme 10 Pro Plus is equipped with a triple camera setup on the back carrying a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens for wide angle shots and a 2-megapixel macro lens for close-up shots along with that it also has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Both phones pack a 5000mAh battery but iQOO Neo 7 supports 120-watt fast charging and the Realme 10 Pro Plus supports 67-watt fast charging.
The iQOO Neo 7 5G launched in India at a starting price of ₹29,999, whereas, the Realme 10 Pro Plus is available on Flipkart at a starting price of ₹24,999.
