Yesterday we saw HTC unveil the Desire Eye at the company’s Double Exposure event in New York and as the name suggests, the phone's main USP is its front camera which is a 13MP sensor with a dual-LED flash. Taking the selfie game to a whole new level, the smartphone also comes with a water-resistant plastic body, a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch 1080p display, BoomSound speakers, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 2400mAh capacity battery. There is also a rear 13MP camera with dual-LED flash.
Now we have seen smartphones with selfie centric cameras in the past, but the Desire Eye certainly seems like the best selfie smartphone ever. Here is a quick comparison of the Desire Eye with some of the well known selfie smartphones.

The Desire Eye has the best specs and sounds way more powerful than its competitors. A good price tag for the smartphone could do wonders for HTC, but knowing the brand we can expect this smartphone to be priced around the 30k mark.
