Your phones hold a lot of data including photos, contacts and other important files you might have downloaded. You must back up your iPhone regularly to avoid losing all this precious data. Here’s how you back up your iPhone on iCloud:
1. Back up your data manually using iCloud
- Make sure you are connected to a Wi-fi network.
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Click on your name
- Click on ‘iCloud’
- Choose data from which apps you wish to back up.
- Scroll down to ‘iCloud Backup’
- Tap on ‘Back up Now’ and press ‘Continue’
2. Back up your data automatically on a daily basis to iCloud
- Make sure that you are connected to a Wi-fi network.
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Click on your name
- Click on ‘iCloud’
- Choose data from which apps you wish to back up.
- Scroll down to ‘iCloud Backup’
- Toggle ‘iCloud Backup’ to ‘On’.
- Make sure that you plug in your power cable (at night) to allow your iPhone to backup automatically to iCloud.
