The Honor 8 is the company’s brand new flagship smartphone. Priced at Rs. 29,999, the phone is up against some pretty strong contenders. However, the phone packs a bunch of interesting features that make it stand out from its peers.
The highlight of the phone is obviously the dual-rear camera setup. The Honor 8 sports two 12MP Sony IMX286 sensors instead of just a single sensor setup that’s used by most smartphones. One of the sensors takes in colour data, while the other takes in B&W data along with details. The images are then combined to create a vibrant and detailed image. Besides this, you also get laser, depth and contrast focus.
However, the camera isn’t the only high point of the phone. You also get a metal and glass build that gives it a premium look and feel. The front and back of the device feature 25D glass, while in between is a metal frame. There is also a 5.2-inch Full HD display. Behind the beautiful looks though, lies the heart of a beast. The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core SoC with 4GB. There is also 32GB of storage and a 3000mAh battery.
The Oppo F1 Plus sports a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It sports a 13MP rear camera, while at the front is a 16MP camera. The F1 Plus is equipped with a 2850mAh battery and offers 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Vivo V3 Max sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC with 4GB of RAM. At the back is a 13MP primary camera, while at the front is an 8MP camera. The phone also offers 32GB of onboard storage as well as a 3000mAH battery.
