The Honor 5C is the latest smartphone to come from the company’s stable and it offers a number of notable features at a price of Rs. 10,999. While the phone is placed in one of the most competitive segments in the Indian market, it has a number of USPs that make it a stand out from the crowd of similarly priced phones.
The Honor 5C is also equipped with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and features a metallic build. However, one of the most notable features of the phone is the 16nm octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 650 SoC. This chipset features four high-performance cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four lower-performance cores clocked at 1.7GHz. This system helps the phone be more power efficient and lets users get the most from the 3000mAh battery. Further, the phone offers 2GB of RAM and runs the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Android Marshmallow v6.0. The device offers 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded by 128GB via a microSD card. At the back of the device there is a 13MP primary camera, while at the front is a 8MP camera.
All these features give the Honor 5C an edge when compared to similarly priced devices like the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and the Moto G4. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) features a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 13MP camera at the back, and at the front is a 5MP camera. The device offers 16GB of storage and runs Android Marshmallow v6.0.
The Moto G4 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display is powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC with 2GB of RAM. Like the Galaxy J5, the G4 also features a 13MP rear camera, while at the front is a 5MP camera. The device offers 16GB of storage and runs Android Marshmallow v6.0.
