Here’s what makes the vivo U10 a phone that’s feature packed, yet affordable
Lately, vivo has been on a bit of a roll. The manufacturer unveiled three smartphones in quick succession, and the vivo U10 was the newest and most affordable smartphone of the lot. However, while the phone was affordable, it didn’t skimp out on features. Here’s a quick look at all that you get with the vivo U10 smartphone.
8-core chipset
The vivo U10 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor that is aided by 3GB or 4GB RAM depending on the variant. The chipset packs Qualcomm’s third generation AI Engine, which is said to offer a better camera, security and gaming performance. The phone also comes with the company’s Funtouch OS 9.1, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
Large battery with fast charging
No one wants a phone that will last them a few hours at max. Knowing this, vivo has packed the vivo U10 with a massive 5000mAh battery. The company claims that this is enough for 12 hours of non-stop YouTube or seven hours of PUBG Mobile. This ensures that users do not have to wait extremely long hours to charge as the phone offers 18W fast charging. vivo claims that a 10 minute charge is enough to offer 4.5 hours of talktime.
Big screen display
A big screen phone is a must for anyone planning to consume a lot of video content on their phones. The vivo U10 packs a 6.35-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1544×720 pixels. In order to ensure as much screen real estate as possible, the phone features a tiny notch, that houses the 8MP front camera.
Three amigos
At the back of the vivo U10 is a triple rear camera setup featuring a 13M+8MP+2MP setup. The 13MP unit is the primary camera used to take standard shots. The 8MP sensors feature a wide angle lens, and lets users take pictures with a wide field of view. Ideal for landscape photography. The 2MP unit is a depth sensor and helps with bokeh shots.
No compromises
Many phones have a hybrid slot. This leaves users with no choice but to choose between having a second SIM card or a microSD card. In other words, those with a second SIM card will not be able to expand their storage. The vivo U10 features a triple card slot. This means that users will not have to choose between a second SIM or a microSD card and enjoy the best of both worlds.
Pretty boy
The front of the vivo U10 is dominated by the big display with very small bezels. As such, the fingerprint sensor is located at the back of the phone. The location of the fingerprint sensor makes it easy to reach with the index finger. It should also be noted that while the vivo U10 features a 5000mAh battery, the phone is still 8.92mm thick.
The vivo U10 is available in three different variants. The most affordable one is priced at Rs 8,990 and offers 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The middle variant offers 3GB RAM and 64GB storage and is priced at Rs 9,990. The top-most variant is priced at Rs 10,990 and offers 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. So buyers can choose the one that best suits their needs and budget.
