HIGHLIGHTS
The Vivo V11 Pro features a 4th Gen In-Display fingerprint scanner, dual-rear cameras, high screen-to-body ratio and more.
Vivo is no stranger to incorporating new technologies to its devices. The company is the only manufacturer currently offering the In-Display Fingerprint Scanner in their smartphones. With its newly launched Vivo V11 Pro smartphone, the company aims to continue this trend. Here’s a quick look at what the new smartphone has to offer.
4th Generation In-Display Fingerprint Scanner
The fingerprint scanner on the Vivo V11 Pro picks from where the Vivo X21 left off. The device comes with the 4thgeneration In-Display Fingerprint Scanner. This optical fingerprint sensor is located just below the display, and works quite well. The benefit of this is that there is no visible fingerprint pad on the phone. As a result, the device sports a seamless design with extra real estate for gaming, and watching videos.
Dual-Lens Camera with Dual-Pixel Technology
The Vivo V11 Pro features a Dual-Lens rear camera setup with a 12 MP + 5 MP sensor combination. The main camera offers a large f/1.8 aperture lens, which helps when taking photos in low-light conditions. On top of this, it also comes with Dual-Pixel Technology, in which each pixel in the sensor is divided into two parts, with each cable operating independently. This helps in boosting the phone’s low-light capabilities.
High Screen-to-Body Ratio
The Vivo V11 Pro features a huge 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Halo FullViewTM Display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The bezels surrounding the display are quite thin at 1.76 mm on the sides and 3.8 mm on the bottom chin. Thanks to the thin bezels, the phone is able to offer an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.27%.
Fast and Safe
The Vivo V11 Pro packs a reasonably large 3400 mAh battery, which should offer hours of talk-time. However, putting a large battery on a phone is just half the work. It also needs to charge quickly so that the user doesn’t have to wait an equally long time to get it back to 100%. Keeping this in mind, the V11 Pro also sports Vivo’s Dual-Engine Fast-Charging. In order to keep things safe during charging, Vivo has used a parallel connection between the two charging chips along with nine different safeguards.
Punchy Performance
The Vivo V11 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which also features the company’s AI Engine. This chipset is based on the 14 nm design and is capable of running graphically intense games. On top of this, the phone offer 6 GB RAM, which helps with multitasking and manages to keep things running smoothly. The Vivo V11 Pro also offers 64 GB of storage, which is expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
As you can see, the Vivo V11 Pro does offer a lot of features in the form of Dual-Lens camera, a large FullViewTM display and In-Display Fingerprint Scanner. These features definitely make the Vivo V11 Pro a good choice for anyone looking for a phone in the 20-30K price range.
