OnePlus Nord was launched in August 2020 and it also features a pill-shaped notch on the top left corner of the display.
With the way smartphones are progressing, in terms of tech, we can clearly see companies experimenting with different front-camera modules and fewer bezels. Right now, we’re clearly seeing the evolution of the notch. First, we saw the normal notch in iPhone X then came the water drop notch and after that punch-hole. Last year, Apple featured another cool notch which raised many eyebrows. Apple featured the pill-shaped notch in iPhone 14 Pro models which it calls the Dynamic Island.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro
Apple iPhone 14 Pro featured a pill-shaped notch with animation in it for the first time in smartphones. iPhone 14 Pro has introduced Dynamic Island for the first time. It will display notifications. On Dynamic Island you will be able to view notifications for Apple Pay transactions along with the low battery warnings, AirDrop transfers, as well as privacy indicators.
The tasks which are running in the background on the iPhone 14 Pro will also be shown on Dynamic Island. This will include incoming phone calls along with Apple Maps directions. The iPhone 14 Pro comes with a triple camera setup holding a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 3D Lidar scanner. It sports a 12-megapixel selfie shooter.
Xiaomi 13 Lite
Xiaomi 13 Lite is said to be the rebranded version of Xiaomi Civi 2 which was launched in China. Xiaomi 13 Lite will launch in India on February 26 along with Xiaomi 13 Pro. It also has a pill-shaped notch which does nothing except hold two selfie shooters, reportedly.
Xiaomi 13 Lite is rumoured to feature a 6.5-inch 10-bit curved FHD+ display with the support of a 120Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi 13 Lite is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and it could run on MIUI 13 operating system.
Xiaomi 13 Lite is expected to come out with a dual camera setup on the front holding a 32-megapixel primary selfie shooter and a 32-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the back, it has a triple camera setup carrying a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 20-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel camera.
Xiaomi 13 Lite could pack a 4500mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging support.
OnePlus Nord
OnePlus Nord was launched in August 2020 and it also features a pill-shaped notch on the top left corner of the display. Here, the notch is also used for the cameras and nothing else. It holds two selfie shooters.
OnePlus Nord features a 6.4-inch Fluid AMOLED display with the support of 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM. It runs on the Android 10 OS but can be upgraded to Android 12 OS.
The phone comes with a quad camera setup on the back holding a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It sports a 32-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens on the front.
The phone packs a 4115mAh battery with 30-watt fast charging support.
