A pair of impressive cameras
Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 sports a pair of 13MP cameras at the front and back. The rear camera sports a Sony IMX258 sensor with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for faster focusing. The front camera is aided by an LED flash, so you’ll be able to take selfies even when it gets dark.
Big battery
While the cameras may be a highlight of that phone, there is a lot more that is on offer. The phone also sports a large 5000mAH battery that should ensure hours of use. Just what you need when you want to take lots of photos or play loads of games. Also, to ensure that you don’t spend hours waiting for the phone to charge, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 offers a fast charging system.
Pretty li’l thing
Design of a smartphone is just as important as is internal hardware. Panasonic knew this and that is why it designed the Eluga Ray 700 to easily fit in the hand. The phone sports rounded corners and is designed to be comfortable to hold, even for long hours. The phone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and should easily fit inside most pockets. Speaking of the display, the Full HD resolution screen ensures that the visuals are crisp. On top of this, the phone offers Gorilla Glass protection.
Power Performer
The Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 sports a MediaTek MTK6753 processor. This is an octa-core processor, which is clocked at 1.3GHz. So you’ll be able to run most of the apps and games available on the Play Store with ease.
One touch to rule it all
Like many other phones in the market, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 sports a fingerprint scanner. However, unlike most phones, it uses the scanner for more than just unlocking itself. It can also be used to scroll, unlock apps, or take selfies.
Memory remains
With 3GB of RAM, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 offers enough RAM to tackle most tasks with ease. This also means that you’ll be able to switch between multiple apps easily. For storage, you get 32GB onboard, which should be more than sufficient to store your apps, games and pictures and videos. However, if you want even more space, you can expand the storage by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The taste of Nougat
The phone also comes with Android Nougat v7.0. This means that you get to enjoy all of the features that come with this version of Google’s mobile operating system, such as multi window support and an improved version of Doze. With multi window support, you will be able to run two apps side-by-side. So, you could watch YouTube while replying to a text. Doze was introduced with Android Marshmallow, and Nougat features an improved version of it. Now, the phone will go into low power mode even when you are out and about.
A splash of colour
These days, a smartphone is more than just a gadget, it’s a lifestyle product as well. With the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700, you get to three colour variants to choose from. These include Mocha Gold, Marine Blue, and Champagne Gold. So you can choose a colour that best suits your style and taste.
VoLTE is here
VoLTE, or Voice over LTE, is the next big thing when it comes to calling, and for good reason. The new technology offers plenty of benefits, as long as your telecom operator offers VoLTE calling. This means that you get HD calling for better quality audio, no drop in background downloads, and faster call connections.
