In India, the company has established itself as one of the biggest brands when it comes to mobile handsets. The offerings not only include high-end smartphone devices but also mid and even low budget handsets.
We have made a list of the best Samsung phones available in India today. Our recommendations range from the low end budgeted feature phones right up to the large screened smartphones and phablets.
1. Rex 80 S5222R
One of the cheapest offerings from Samsung is their Rex series of handsets. The Rex 80 S5222R is a fine example, although not a smartphone, it offers a number of features at a low cost of Rs. 4,200. It has a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display and has a 3.2MP camera at the back. It comes with Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz UI and ChatON messaging application. Other features include Wi-Fi, FM Radio with recording, dual-SIM capability, expandable memory of up to 16GB and a 1,000mAh battery that gives 14 hours of talk-time backup.

2. Galaxy Trend S7392
If you are looking for an Android running Samsung smartphone under Rs. 10,000 then we suggest the Galaxy Trend S7392. Available at about Rs.7, 500 the smartphone has a nice built finish and comes in black, white and red colour options.
The Galaxy Trend features a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory with a memory expansion card slot of 32GB. The display is a 4-inch TFT touchscreen with 800×480 pixels resolution. Apart from these the smartphone has a 3MP camera, a 1500mAh battery and Android Jelly Bean with TouchWiz 4.0 on top.

3. Galaxy S Duos 2
Samsung sold quite a few units of the Galaxy S Duos and now they have launched the Galaxy S Duos 2 which is a substantial update and a more powerful smartphone. While there aren’t any noticeable changes in the looks department, the Galaxy S Duos 2 has a 1.2GHz dual core processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot with support of up to 64GB memory, a 5MP camera at the back and a 0.3MP front camera, dual-SIM support, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz on top and a 1500mAh battery. 4. Galaxy Grand Quattro I8552
Samsung had launched the Galaxy Grand Quattro in a hassle because it was facing stiff competition from Micromax which was offering a quad-core processor running smartphone under Rs.15, 000. Nevertheless, the Grand Quattro is a worthy smartphone if you are looking for a Samsung handset in the low to mid-price segment with a quad-core processor.
The specs include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and a 4.7 inch display with 800×480 pixels resolution. In the memory department you get 8GB of internal storage and an expansion slot for a microSD card for up to 32GB. Other than that, there is a 5MP rear camera, a 2000mAh battery and the device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI layer on top. The Grand Quattro is available at a price of Rs. 15,900 and comes in gray and white colour options.

5. Galaxy Grand Duos I9082
One of the most popular 5-inch Samsung smartphone selling in India, the Galaxy Grand Duos offers a nice option for the consumers in the mid-range price segment. It isn’t one of the best looking smartphones as it follows Samsung’s round and curved plastic design which hasn’t appealed many.
The specs include a 5-inch display with 800×480 pixels resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card expansion slot, an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, a 2100mAh battery and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI.
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 18,399 and comes in three colour options include blue, white and brown.

6. Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9200
If you are into large screened smartphones, or what we call the phablets, then do check out the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The device offers a large 6.3 inch display with a 720p resolution. The device runs on a 1.7GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card expansion slot, an 8MP camera at the back, a 1.9MP camera in the front and 3200mAh battery to juice up the device.
The Galaxy Mega’s built quality is fairly good and follows the design of the Galaxy S4. It comes at a price of Rs. 24,999 in white and black colour options.

7. Galaxy S4 Zoom
For the photography enthusiasts, Samsung launched a camera oriented version of the Galaxy S4 called the S4 Zoom. While the smartphone is quite chunky, the camera offers a 10x optical zoom with 16MP resolution and a xenon flash.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display with 960×540 pixels resolution with Gorilla Glass 3, 1.5GB or RAM, 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 64GB via a microSD card and a 2300mAh battery.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is primarily designed around the Galaxy S4, however the build quality again is all glossy plastic. The smartphone comes in black and white colour options and costs at Rs. 26,990.

8. Galaxy S4 I9500
Samsung’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, made quite a buzz, however consumers were not amazed at the launch due to the design and looks. The device offers some high end specifications an octa-core processor (1.6GHz quad 1.2GHz quad), 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display, a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card expansion slot and 2600mAH battery.

9. Samsung Galaxy Note 3
