A royal getaway with the OPPO F3
Nirmal, Nisha, Tanya and Apu took OPPO’s latest selfie expert to Neemrana Fort in Rajasthan and here’s their entire journey retold through pictures.
OPPO has been raising the bar when it comes to selfies. After offering a 16MP camera with its F1s smartphone, the company took things to another level with the OPPO F3. Instead of offering a single front facing camera, the F3 offers two. One to take individual selfies, and another with double-wide view to take group selfies. While one can go on describing how handy such a setup can be, we did something even better. We asked four friends, Tanya, Nirmal, Nisha and Apu to take the OPPO F3 on a holiday to Rajasthan and make the most of the ‘Selfie Expert’.
The trip starts off on a high note, quite literally, as the group prepared to do a bit of paramotoring. The Double View Group Selfie Camera, which has a 120-degree wide angle, captures the entire group as well as the machine and the pilot who is going to take them to the skies.
Here’s Nirmal looking cool even when he is up in the air. To take this shot and ensure he didn’t drop the phone, he used a combination of the palm gesture and the time. No need to fiddle around with the shutter button.
That’s some view from up there. Time to switch to the 13MP rear camera and capture it in all its glory.
Now that the sky has been conquered, it time for some zorbing fun. Let’s get rolling (Pun intended).
The OPPO F3’s 16MP front camera is in its element here. The camera was able to capture Nirmal (and ALL his hair) while he was bouncing along with almost no blurring.
Of course, Tanya wasn’t about to let Nirmal have all the fun. Here she is proving that the OPPO F3 can take cool selfies from almost any angle.
When Apu meets Apu. The OPPO F3 has a cool double exposure feature that will let you clone yourself. At least on camera.
After such a hectic day, what better way to chill than by heading over to Neemrana Fort in Rajasthan. The bright sunlight may make it hard for these guys to keep their eyes open, but that’s nothing for the OPPO F3.
What a view! The panorama shot from the fort ensures that you can show off the entire view from the top without the need to take multiple shots.
The OPPO F3 comes with an Ultra-HD mode that can takes multiple shots and then stitches them together to create a single 50MP image with more details
Tricky lighting conditions such as these can make it hard to take the perfect shot. Thankfully, the Pro mode of the phone lets you take control of the camera settings take fine tune it to your liking.
Time to make a splash. The pool not only cools down the gang, but also gives a chance to take an equally cool selfie. To ensure that the phone doesn’t get too wet, the palm shutter feature is used once again.
Instant makeup! Here’s Tanya using the Beautify mode on the OPPO F3.
While Tanya made full use of the Beautify mode, Nisha cleverly used the wide-angle front camera to take a picture of her snazzy getup.
That was a busy day. Now that the sun has set, Nirmal and Nisha decide to take a selfie with the awesome backdrop of the Neemrana Fort.
Was that selfie a little too dark? Thank God for the screen flash feature of the OPPO F3. Instead of using a LED flash, the entire display of the smartphone lights up. This allows the light to be distributed more evenly on subjects.
The rear camera on the OPPO F3 is no slouch in low light either. Here’s a good look at the impressive lighting of the fort.
When it’s all set and done, the images taken by the gang using the OPPO F3 will ensure that the memories of this trip will live on for a very long time.
