UltraProlink Boost Unity: Provides100W GaN charging sanity

Updated on 02-Apr-2025

There’s a small but growing corner of my desk that’s begun to resemble a charging refugee camp – phone cables tangled with laptop bricks, smartwatches gasping for juice, and earbuds blinking helplessly. It’s the daily chaos of the modern multi-device lifestyle. And into this mess, I dropped the UltraProlink Boost Unity 100W GaN charger. Spoiler alert: I haven’t looked back since.

This little wall socket charging beast is deceptively small for something so powerful. Built around the latest GaN Fast III chipset, it’s got six charging ports – four USB-C and two USB-A – and claims to push out up to 100 watts of fast charging goodness.

Plug it in, and the Boost Unity 100 instantly gets to work and starts justifying its name. It becomes your central charging command hub. USB-C1 is the crown jewel here – up to 100W on its own when used solo, perfect for juice-hungry laptops. Even when all six ports are in use, C1 still pushes 65W, which is comfortable to charge a MacBook simultaneously while charging a couple of smartphones, TWS earbuds, and any other USB-powered device.

For my testing, I plugged in everything short of a kitchen blender. MacBook Air (M2), iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, even a rival charger just for the sake of it. Let’s just say the Boost Unity didn’t flinch.

Real-world charging experience

With the iPhone 15 Pro charging from 2%, I saw it jump to 18% in just seven minutes, 30% in 15 minutes, and 63% in under 40. And this wasn’t a one-off by any means, since the iPhone 15 Pro was the gadget I recharged the most using the UltraProlink Boost Unity. That’s not just fast – it’s “you’ll regret not doing this earlier” fast.

The Apple Watch series 10 also appreciated the charging love. From dead to 88% in about 90 minutes, though charging paused briefly when the watch got too warm – thanks to Indian summer heat prevalent at the time, especially in the middle of the day.

I also tried charging the StuffCool Giga 65W 20000 mAh power bank using the UltraProlink Boost Unity, through its 100W USB-C1 port, and it managed to get from 1% to 30% in 31 minutes flat, which is quite speedy in my experience.

Recharging the MacBook Air M2 was the only thing that was slightly complicated, throughout my testing experience. While charging the MacBook Air M2 with the supported cable provided with the UltraProlink Boost Unity (it comes in the box), I saw the MacBook Air being hesitant at first. Charging toggled on and off for a few rounds before it settled in. Once it did, though, it behaved like a dream. From 0% to full charge took just over two hours, and in fact the MacBook Air jumped from 22% to 84% battery charge, that’s almost two-thirds of its overall battery capacity, in a single hour while I continued working on it, screen on and Wi-Fi blazing. That’s quite good.

One of my usual hesitations with multi-port chargers is heat. But UltraProlink’s four-layer protection – against overcharging, overheating, short circuits, and power surges – held up during the duration of my use and testing. Even under full load, the charger stayed warm – not blazingly hot. That GaN magic really is the future of compact power tech!

What’s more, in terms of ergonomics, the UltraProlink Boost Unity stands upright thanks to a smart little base, which means it doesn’t get buried under a deluge of cables on your desk. It’s a small design touch, but a thoughtful one.

Whether you’re team Apple, Android, the UltraProlink Boost Unity has you covered. It worked seamlessly with everything I threw at it – phones, tablets, laptops, wearables, and even another GaN charger. There’s something poetic about charging your charger with another charger, don’t you think? Hah!

UltraProlink even includes PPS support for Samsung flagships and newer Pixels, which makes this a great one-size-fits-all solution for mixed-device households or traveling professionals with several gadgets to charge on-the-go. There’s something oddly satisfying about watching your devices power up in harmony – no turf wars, no prioritising who gets the fast port. Just clean, elegant, intelligent charging.

The UltraProlink Boost Unity 100 doesn’t just tidy up your desk, but it also quiets the digital cable chaos in your life. And at ₹4,559, it’s a solid value considering it might just replace three or four bricks in your bag.
