Hello streamers! March is here and all of you should be very excited because there is some pretty awesome content lined up on your favourite streaming services. Superheroes will reside on your screens and superwomen will make you laugh your pants off. Award-winning documentaries will make you think long and hard, while mismatched couples will teach you the meaning of love. Here’s everything you can/should binge-watch in March 2017.

Marvel's Iron Fist

Saw Jessica Jones and Luke Cage? If you haven’t, it’s time you catch up as Marvel and Netflix are all set to reveal the televised version of Superhero Iron Fist. Master of martial arts and weilder of mystical forces, Iron Fist traces the life of millionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) as he returns to New York to fight for his lost legacy.

13 Reasons Why

Based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, 13 Reasons Why follows teenager Clay Jensen as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Will Clay be one of them? If he listens, he’ll find out how he made the list. Through Hannah and Clay’s dual narratives, 13 Reasons Why weaves an intricate and heart wrenching story of teenage life that will deeply affect viewers.

The White Helmets

This Netflix Original documentary won an Oscar this year for the Best Short Subject Documentary. The White Helmets follows the work and lives first responders in battle struck Syria. As daily airstrikes pound civilians in the country, these first responders risk everything, including their lives to rescue innocent people. The documentary is now available to watch on the platform and is well worth your time.

Man in High Castle

What  would it be like if allied powers lost World War 2 and Japan, Germany ruled the United States? This riveting show is based on Philip K. Dick's award-winning novel and executive produced by Ridley Scott (Blade Runner) and Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files). Both season 1 and season 2 of the show are available to stream as of now.

Amy Schumer: The Leather Special

Watch Miss Amy Schumer in her comic best (and some really uncomfortable looking leather pants), in this Netflix original stand-up show. This is especially recommended for women who don’t mind listening to some extremely explicit and  supremely sexist comments hurled on men – our arch enemies.

Love: Season 2

If you haven’t yet seen season 1 of this peppy romantic comedy then you have till March 10 to binge watch the same, until season 2 of the show finally makes its debut. Love is a sweet, sassy show about a sex addict and a geek falling in, well, Love. We shall leave it up to you to find out what happens next.

How to Get Away with Murder: Season 3

We never doubted Viola Davis and her acting skills, neither did the good people at Oscars this year. Your favourite lawyer Annalise Keating has been back in season 3 of How to Get Away with Murder for a while now, but the new season is still not available on Netflix. Worry not. If you have waited this long to watch season 3 of this brain bamboozling show where lawyers are also murderers, your agony is about to end on March 23.

I Am Your Father

Nothing, Nil, Nada comes to mind, other than Darth Vader from the original Star Wars Trilogy, when you hear the words “I Am Your Father”. This aptly named documentary follows the story of David Prowse, the actor who played Star Wars’ iconic villain, Darth Vader. His face was never revealed in the films.  He had the opportunity once in "Return of the Jedi", but something happened. Another actor did that sequence and that fact marked David Prowse life for ever. Thirty years later, a young filmmaker discovers why the producers took that decision, and is determined to pay Dave a deserved tribute.
