Rupesh Lunkad, Managing Director – India and South Asia of TeamViewer, provided insight into the company's talent expansion plans in India. "Almost any industry is hiring programmers, software engineers, and developers. We are especially searching for highly motivated personnel who are eager to learn and adapt to dynamic circumstances," he said. His remarks reflect the company's commitment to nurturing local talent, with a focus on technical skills such as software development, database management, and network configuration, as well as soft skills like communication, analytical thinking, and project management.
One of the most unique projects that TeamViewer's APAC engineering talent center is working on is its partnership with the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore. The center aims to integrate TeamViewer's augmented reality and artificial intelligence functionalities into its production line. The center is also in the process of incorporating these solutions into various areas of its production automation, such as product inspection, facility maintenance, and worker training.
In the APAC region, and especially in India, businesses are reaping the benefits of TeamViewer Tensor and TeamViewer Frontline, according to Rupesh Lunkad. SRF Limited, a multi-business chemicals corporation in India, is a prime example. “The company has implemented TeamViewer's Augmented Reality (AR) platform Frontline across four of its plants, enabling efficient remote support and employee training. Technicians can connect to on-site staff's devices and guide them through processes, enabling them to identify and resolve issues on machines. The technology also provides opportunities for on-the-job learning while connecting remotely with seniors in different locations,” he said.
Looking to the future, Lunkad shared his thoughts on how TeamViewer plans to leverage AI, IoT, and AR technologies to further digitize business-critical processes around the world. "With the growing importance of advanced technologies in today's digital era, TeamViewer is harnessing the power of AI, AR, and MR to optimize processes," he said. The company's AI add-on, AiStudio, allows for the simple integration of AI capabilities for image and object recognition without the need for programming knowledge.
TeamViewer's evolution from a remote login tool to an enterprise automation company is a testament to its foresight and commitment to innovation. By providing a platform that is easy-to-use and boosts efficiency, they empower frontline workers and enhance productivity, communication, and collaboration across industries.
