The trailer is directed by Joe Kosinski (you may know him from movies like Oblivion and Tron: Legacy). The trailer evokes the pillars of DOOM's gameplay: Relentless Combat, Terrifying Demons, and Guns.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst Developer Diary – City and Narrative

Remember the 2001 Final Fantasy Movie? It was called Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Remember it? Me neither. It wasn’t the best film to have Final Fantasy in its name. KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV is a full-length CG film that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to blur the line between animation and reality. Will it do justice to the franchise or will it crash and burn? We will have to wait for the film to find out.
