All new trailers from Comic-Con 2018: Spider-Man for PS4, Iron Fist 2, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, DC’s Titans, and more

Day 1 of San Diego Comic-Con 2018 saw much excitement as new trailers were revealed by Netflix, DC, Sony and others. Check out all the new teasers and trailers from SDCC here.

The San Diego Comic Con is underway as we speak and there’s already loads of action headed our way from the looks of all that was announced on Day 1 of the Con. Netflix’s Iron Fist 2 got a release date, George R.R Martin’s interstellar horror show saw a trailer, DC revealed details about its upcoming movie and TV streaming service, a new game trailer for the Spider-Man PS4 game was released alongside the announcement of a limited edition “Amazing Red” PS4 Pro console. So without further delay, here’s all that was announced at SDCC 2018 Day 1.

Iron Fist 2 coming to Netflix on Sept 7

Season 2 of Marvel’s Iron Fist debuts exclusively on Netflix on September 7, 2018. The teaser date announcement shows Danny Rand engaged in a fist fight. He now claims the city for himself and announces his every intention to fight for it. “I will not back down,” Rand says in the teaser, hinting at a darker, more action-packed series this time around. Will Rand (Finn Jones) evolve to become the Iron Fist we all would like to see? Check out the teaser announcement below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4

A new story trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man game for PS4 was showed off on day 1 of Comic-Con. The trailer confirms Silver Sable A.K.A Silver Sablinova as the villain in the game. Sable is convinced by Norman Osborn to stop Spider-Man and his vigilante activities. Silver Sable is joined by her crime-fighting force Silver Sable International to restore order in the city. Check out the trailer below. PS: Sony will be releasing a new “Amazon Red” variant of the PS4 Pro to mark the launch of the game. Spider-Man comes to PlayStation 4 on September 7.

George R.R Martin’s Nightflyers

From the mind of George R. R. Martin, Nightflyers is a psychological thriller, set in deep space on the eve of Earth's destruction. A crew of explorers journey on the most advanced ship in the galaxy, The Nightflyer, and work to intercept a mysterious alien spacecraft that might hold the key to the planet's survival. As the crew nears their destination however, they discover that mysterious forces and even their own minds are working against them. The series is coming soon to Netflix, but no release date was announced.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming back!

Disney is bringing back its hugely popular animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars in the form of 12 new episodes on its upcoming streaming service. A new trailer for Clone Wars was showed off at SDCC 2018 and the show is expected to finish what was considered to be an abrupt ending when the series was cancelled back in 2013. The Clone Wars ended after five broadcast seasons — just as Ahsoka left the Jedi Order. A few post-Season Five episodes were later released as “The Lost Missions,” but the story wasn’t over. Fans have clamored for Disney and Lucasfilm to finish what was started ever since. And now it’s actually happening. Check out the trailer below

DC’s Streaming service is on its way

At Comic-Con, DC revealed that its streaming service ‘DC Universe’ is launching this fall for a subscription of $74 per year. The Verge reports that the new streaming service will not only have DC’s TV shows and movies, it will also house comic books, a DC encyclopedia, and a forum for fans of the universe. Pre-orders for the new service have also started. To celebrate pre-order availability, DC Universe and Warner Bros. Television released a first-look at the upcoming exclusive original series Titans. Doctor Who Season 11 trailer
