Run with Stridalyzer
Stridalyzer is a smart in-sole for your shoes developed by Bangalore based start-up ReTiSense. The Stridalysers are just like regular insoles that give you real time actionable guidance while running. The sensors embedded inside the insoles measure the impact and pressure experienced in the foot and knees and directly sends the user real-time alerts to avoid potential injury. Stridalyzer connects to a companion app on your smartphone, so you will need an arm band to place your smartphone while running. You will also need a pair of earphones to help you hear the instructions provided by the Stridalyzer app. The insoles also detect your vitals, which can be seen on your smartphone. It also measures stride rate and stride length and can also accurately measure your ground contact time.
Stridalyzer is available in 2 packages, Regular & Premium. While the regular package provides insoles, basic app * basic cloud functions, the Premium package includes insoles, all app features & all cloud features. The Regular package will cost you $99 (Rs. 6452) and the Premium package will cost you $129 (Rs. 8407). Shipping it may cost you a little extra aswell.
Stridalyzer started as a novice project on popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, in December last year. Backed by more than 300 investors the company managed to raise $30,768 in just a matter of 30 days.
