With E3 2012 concluded, it would therefore almost be fair to presume the launch lineup of games in June would be a little light. Is it, though?

Well, you can be the judge of that, as we’ve listed seven great games that will hit store shelves in June 2012 – the list includes everything from shooters, to stealth action, and third-person adventure – for consoles, PCs, and even the PlayStation Vita (read our review).

The Amazing Spider-Man

It’s raining superheroes in June, first with the caped crusader in Lego Batman and now, the creepy crawler in the Amazing Spider-Man. The game is tied in with the movie that will be releasing in June as well. Created as an epilogue story occurring entirely after the events of the movie, the game features an open city environment waiting to be explored by the players.

The Amazing Spider-Man game will introduce a new mode called Web Rush, where players will be able to pull off a vast array of moves never before possible. Hopefully this Spider-Man game will not be as disappointing as its most recent predecessor – Edge of Time.
