PUBG Mobile recently celebrated its second anniversary and for most of us, we know almost every map by heart. In fact, some players have been playing with their friends for so long that they already have strategies in place without the need to go over them each time. However, not everyone is perfect and there is always room for improvement. Here are a few tips and strategies to help you improve your PUBG Mobile game and ensure the chicken dinner is closer than ever. If you managed to learn something new, well then that’s what we at Digit are all about. However, if you already knew all this, then that’s ok too. No harm in knowing too much right?
Before we begin, do note that this isn’t exactly a beginner’s guide. You can find that particular guide here. So without further ado, let’s begin.
Sure, the fancy clothing might seem very tempting, and let you flex your love for the game, it is practically pretty useless. Think about it, there is a reason why armies don’t go to war wearing bright colours. Ideally, wear clothes that let you blend into your surroundings. This will help improve your survivability, especially against snipers. For Erangel and Sanhok, consider wearing green or any dark ‘earthy’ colours, while brown or faded colours would work well in Miramar. White clothes would do very well in Vikendi.
When playing as a group, make sure that you have one person who is the designated leader. The leader’s primary goal will not be scavenging for supplies or hoarding the best loot. He/she will also keep an eye out for any drops in the vicinity, the distance of the safe zone as well as marking where to go. The other players will carry most of the big guns and follow instructions.
Even before you land, ensure that there is one person designated as the sniper, This person will get all the best scopes and will be responsible for scouting locations before the rest of the team goes in. He will also provide cover when the team goes to recover a drop. It should be pretty obvious by now, but the sniper should be the person with the best accuracy.
If you didn’t realise it by now, all doors in a match are closed by default. So any smart player can know that there are enemies in an area by simply looking at open doors. The best way to avoid being spotted like that is by ensuring that you close doors behind you. Not only that, but it also lets you set up ambushes for enemy players.
Do you want to take it slow by landing in a relatively empty spot, or would you prefer a hot landing where you want to get the best possible weapons? Do you think you should play right on the edge of the circle, or should you move to the centre and set up ambushes? Regardless, you should ensure that the strategy is known by your team before you land. The last thing you want is to have people landing in different locations.
If a very good idea to keep an eye of fir vehicles when landing as the first circle might be far away. Having a vehicle nearby lets you scavenge for longer without worrying out being caught outside the circle. However, you may consider ditching the vehicle after the first couple of circles as the noise may attract enemies to your location.

If the first drop location is relatively close to you, and you happen to have a vehicle nearby, you may consider rushing the first drop. Usually, players are quite preoccupied with scavenging the first few minutes and you might use this time to get your hands on some quality loot before anyone else and give your chances of winning chicken dinner a boost.
