Gaming season just got hotter. If you’ve been saving up to blow your hard earned cash on some awesome games, the month of May seems to be the best time to do it. So without torturing you further, here is a list of seven games we are excited about for the month of May 2012.
Diablo 3
It would be an understatement to say that Diablo 3 is the most anticipated PC game of 2012. The story of Diablo 3 picks up 12 years its predecessor. Gamers will don the role of at hero from one of five distinct character classes. Throughout the journey, players will acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore the world of Sanctuary and battle demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen.
You can get your hands on Diablo 3 on May 15th for the PC and Mac.
Max Payne 3
The game that got us bullet time and a comic book style story narration is getting its third installment. Continuing the saga of the former New York detective, Max Payne 3’s adventure takes place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. For the first time, Max Payne 3 introduces gamers to the series a multiplayer experience. This online mode dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match. The best feature – Bullet Time comes to multiplayer.
The game shows of some really impressive graphics and the animations, especially during bullet time and gunplay look phenomenal this far. Catch Max Payne in action on the PS3, XBOX 360 and the PC on May 15th 2012.
Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Edition
If you haven’t heard the name Arkham City, we suggest you rethink your claim of being a gamer. One of the best games of last year, Batman Arkham City is getting a Game of the Year (GOTY) edition on May 29th 2012. The GOTY edition will not only contain the awesome game, but also the 6 DLC’s that have been made available for the game thus far. This will include the Batman skins, Nightwing DLC, Robin DLC and the recently launched Harley Quinn DLC. A must have for fans of the franchise and a true value for money for fans of the game.
Resistance Burning Skies
If you are one of the fortunate few in India to own a PS Vita, then here is a game you may want to check out. The resistance franchise was one of the best First Person Shooters on the PS3 and we hope its hand held counterpart does justice to the reputation of the franchise. The game tells the story of survival during the August 1951 Chimeran invasion of the East Coast. Players don the role of Tom Riley, an everyday firefighter from New Jersey who is thrown headfirst into the war against the Chimeran.
Resistance Burning Skies is expected to hit store shelves on May 29th 2012.

If you are a fan of the TV series then here’s your chance to relive the epic saga in the virtual work. Created in partnership with author George R. R. Probably one of the highlights at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference at E3 2011 (after Assassins Creed and Far Cry), Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier puts gamers in the shoes of the soldiers of tomorrow. FeaturING cutting-edge technology and prototype high-tech weaponry it’s your mission to lead the untraceable squad of soldiers called Ghosts into the heat of battle.
The game will be available on May 25th 2012 for the XBOX 360 and PS3 and in June for the PC.
Minecraft (XBOX 360)
Minecraft has been available for the PC for quite some time now and is making its console debut exclusively on the XBOX 360. Minecraft let’s you create worlds from the comfort of your sofa. Play alone or play with your friends. Explore, build and conquer! At night monsters come out, so make sure to build a shelter before that happens. After that, your world is your imagination!
