How did you get into gaming?
I started gaming during my college days about 12 years ago. We used to skip college and go to a gaming cafe and play games all day. Then one day, I saw a team playing Counter-Strike 1.6 and after watching them, I learned that there was a whole different side to gaming: competitive. After that, I started practicing seriously and wanted to be the best at it.
The game you play and why you love it
Counter-Strike – I love the game because it tests your reflexes, co-ordination, aggression, presence of mind and of course, there are a lot of headshots.
A little on the team you play for
I play for U Mumba eSports (Counter-Strike:Global Offensive division), it’s one of the best organisations I’ve played for, in terms of professionalism and player management.
Is there any specific team or player you would like to play against?
I would have loved to play versus 2017's Entity Gaming roster.
What's your favorite gaming moment across gaming?
Representing India at ESL Cologne Major, 2014.
Most unforgettable game/match you were part of
Losing Dew Arena 1.0 was hard, but definitely memorable.
Your favorite esports personality
GeT_RiGhT, because he's one of the most iconic Counter-Strike players of all time.
Is eSports your primary profession?
No, I have my own import-export firm.

Your thoughts on the eSports scene in India right now
I have been playing for over the past 11 years now. During my early days, I remember there were hardly any events and the prizes were pretty much non-existent. Esports has come a long way since, but there is definitely still a lot of potential for growth in the industry, especially here in India. For now, the community is varied, people don't appreciate good content, people would rather pay to watch corny movies rather than appreciate hard work and quality gaming.
