Bullet League – retro royale

Updated on 15-Apr-2021

Bullet League, Funday Factory’s newest adventure, is a free-to-play 2D battle royale game that pits players against each other in a battleground where the last man standing is the victor. This game takes the concept of a battle royal and twists it with its retro-looking maps.

Bullet League Gameplay

For starters, gameplay is simple to grasp, but fast-paced and requires players to think quickly on their feet. You move left or right with the analog button on the left side of the screen and jump and shoot with the button on the right side of the screen. The shoot button also comes with direction input to choose which direction to shoot your weapons in.

You’re one among 32 players who are dropped onto “Doom Island” with nothing on them. Now, you run around and pick up weapons, health packs and shield packs to help you win the game. Again, like we’ve gotten accustomed to with battle royales, there’s a circle of poison gas or whatever that’s slowly closing in on the play area, so as time passes you’re slowly confined to a small area of the map. They’ve implemented this pretty well for a 2D platformer style map. At the start you have access to three game modes, solo, squads or you can just play vs your friends. 32 players are dropped on a map. As simple as its gameplay is, the game is packed with content for casual gamers. You can unlock new characters, along with Kill Trophies to show off your killing achievements on the battlefield.

There is a leveling and progression system in the game for both your character and the weapons. Each time you level up you get a little more health, damage etc. The same to weapons which get improved stats as you level them up. This adds a bit of a pay2win element to the game but ultimately, it’ll be your skill that wins you the game, paying will definitely give you an edge though.

Bullet League Verdict

Bullet League does well in mixing violence and thrill as players seek a winning podium finish. This is a good game for gamers on the go, and is very quick to get into games. There were no forced ads, but you can watch them to double rewards and get more loot to upgrade your gear. You should definitely give this one a try!
