Apart from being one of the cutest games we’ve seen, Cuphead is a run and gun platform indie video game. As the titular Cuphead, the player loses a bet with the devil and spends the game attempting to repay the bet. The game features a branching level sequence and is based around continuous boss fights.

4.    Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands

An open world tactical shooter is the best way to describe Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Play the campaign alone or with friends (we recommend playing it with friends) and you get the feeling of being a tactical field agent sent to take on the bad guys. Each mission has multiple ways in which you can tackle them and the sheer options at your disposal make this game very interesting.

If you enjoy telltales game, then there is one big franchise coming to the Telltale series. 7.    Horizon Zero Dawn

Developed by the masterminds behind the Killzone franchise, Horizon Zero Dawn is a third person open world game where your foes are giant mechanical monsters. One reason that we are excited about the game is that it's running the same engine that Kojima will use for Death Stranding. Yes, the Decima engine made by Guerrilla Games will be used by Kojima Productions. We are really looking forward to the capabilities of the engine.

10.    Prey

From the studio that got us Dishonored 2, Prey is one of the most anticipated games of 2016. The game is the reimagining of the original game that debuted in 2006. Can the studio do justice to a legendary game?

Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows

12.    Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Resident Evil was once considered as the genre definer for horror games and somewhere along the journey, lost its position as the best horror game to Dead Space 2. We think Resident Evil 7 is trying to reclaim its position with RE7. The game takes a lot of inspiration from P.T. and we think that’s a good thing. We can't wait to get scared playing RE7.

Release date: January 24, 2017

13.    The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild

Nintendo is all set to launch its new console, the Nintendo Switch. What good is a new Nintendo console if it doesn’t have a Zelda game. Behold, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild. The game looks really beautiful and we think it will show off the power and USP of the Switch.
